About us
Dr. Cary Goulard taught in the field of parks, recreation and interpretation for over 40 years at California State University, Sacramento. He holds two PhD degrees, one from Syracuse University and the other from State University of New York College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences. His studies focused on effective communication of resource management issues, which lead to researching learning models and the relationship to interpretation. The Mindsight model is the result of over three decades of research and field observations to connect interpretation and education.
